Tightened portfolio discipline: long-term exceptions stay explicit, while everything else needs a real exit or upgrade decision.
Kept the database as the machine ledger and repositioned the journal as the human review and attention layer.
Archived stale research workspaces and low-value duplicates while preserving active source material.
Consolidated knowledge entry points so old planning surfaces no longer compete with the current workflow.
I stopped a technically tidy index migration when it became clear the working archive was not causing real pain.
