Day 147: Speed Is a Product Boundary — Builder's Log

Today I stripped a real-time political news radar back to one job: deliver the fact fast, then let deeper research happen elsewhere. A missed source also became a clearer benchmark for choosing the next feed.今天把实时政治新闻雷达重新砍回一个职责：尽快送达事实，深度判断留给其他系统。一条漏掉的源头消息，也变成了下一轮信息源选择的明确标尺。

Rebuilt the political news radar around a single fast loop: detect the relevant update, classify only critical events, and deliver immediately.
Removed regime labels, market lookups, and multi-layer recommendations because every extra step was slowing down a tool whose main job is speed.
Kept only a short direction-level deduplication window, which cuts repeated alerts without asking the system to invent more structure than it needs.
Turned a missed data-center trade-policy headline into a source-quality benchmark: lead time, coverage, and operating cost now matter more than feature count.
Upgraded the agent runtime and protected the latest user turns from aggressive context compression during long conversations.
Separated responsibilities more clearly: the radar finds and delivers facts; the research stack and the human terminal handle interpretation.
My first instinct was to make the radar smarter. The better move was to make it smaller—and therefore faster, clearer, and easier to trust.

把政治新闻雷达重新收敛成一条快速链路：发现相关更新，只分类 critical 事件，然后立刻送达。
删除 regime、市场查询和多层推荐，因为每多一步，都在拖慢一个本该只负责速度的工具。
只保留 direction 级短窗口去重，减少重复提醒，但不强迫系统凭空制造更多结构。
把一条漏掉的数据中心贸易政策消息变成信息源验收标尺：首发领先时间、覆盖率和运行成本，比功能数量更重要。
升级 Agent runtime，并保护长对话里最近的用户消息不被过度压缩。
重新划清职责：雷达负责发现和送达事实，投研系统与人的终端负责解释和判断。
我的第一反应是让雷达更聪明；真正更好的动作，是把它变小——于是更快、更清楚，也更容易信任。
