Started translation practice — picked a Noah Smith essay and translated it paragraph by paragraph. The AI wanted to finish it for me. I said no. Some things you have to do yourself.

Shipped the /os/ page on rexliu.io — a scrollable dark narrative showing how I think about Investment, Content, Life, and Stack. Header now has an OS entry point.

Fixed silent failures across rexliu.io — the “X people read this” counter and nudge system were quietly failing on slow networks. Added retry logic with automatic reconciliation.

Set up an Obsidian learning system — vocabulary.md for new words, learning-curve/ folder for reading notes. Two tools only: immersive translate + macOS three-finger tap. Keep it simple.
